At a recent press conference for her latest movie, Maleficent, actress Angelina Jolie shared that she is planning to take a step back from acting and focus more on writing, directing, and her work with the UN and the PSVI. Known for her humanitarian efforts, Jolie has been heavily involved in advocating against sexual violence and has also made a name for herself behind the camera. Despite her shift in focus, she did mention that her children enjoy watching films with her and partner Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie shared that her kids enjoyed watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Tomb Raider. She mentioned that her children see her as a hero like Lara Croft. The actress is excited for her children to see the upcoming Maleficent movie as she believes it will be a family favorite. Despite her daughter Vivienne’s appearance in the film, Angelina hopes that her children will not pursue acting careers, as she values their happiness above all. Maleficent will be in UK cinemas on May 28th.
